The seal of the municipal dump of vinaròs will recover 58,000 m2 of green space

The council will invest in the works of the 2’5 million euros sealing and will start in the next weeks. The project will follow the guidelines marked by thethe Valencian generalitat will begin in the coming weeks the works of seal of the old municipal dump of vinaròs, as announced this Wednesday the mayor guillem alsina, after signing the replantation record for the beginning of the works of seal of the old dump. The works will involve an investment of 2.5 million by the generalitat to recover more than 58,000 square meters of green space and that are framed within the autonomous plan of sealing of consell landfills.

“We have received confirmation from the general director of climate change and environmental quality, joan piquer, of the signing of the replantation certificate of these works by the technicians of the Generalitat,” alsina said. Alsina stressed that these are complex works that will require applying different layers of land, geotextile foils, meshes, gas outflows and a drainage network to evacuate the rainwater to the cérvol river. The project also plans to install 34 degasification wells and plumbing per light that can leave the dump to drive it to the debugger.

At the same time, once completed, the entire perimeter will be surrounded by cypresses to integrate it with the rest of the landscape.
